About Kaos

Kaos Softwear is the creation of founders Jesse Jarrell and Steve Haworth. They started researching the idea of using silicone for jewelry in the late 90’s and soon began production of the first ever flexible eyelets which were introduced to the body jewelry industry in 2002.

Based in Portland, Oregon, Kaos Softwear specializes in the production of the world’s most flexible and comfortable, premium silicone body jewelry.

Since our humble beginnings, our jewelry has been engineered, manufactured and prepared by people immersed within the body modification community and from varied backgrounds and subcultures. This guarantees to our customers that they are receiving a product that we didn’t just manufacture, but a product that conforms to the quality standards that we hold for our own personal adornments.

By being a part of the culture we serve, we pass that passion and insight along to our customers so that they receive a product that we care about and have built our lives upon.

Kaos Softwear takes great pride in offering a product made from implant grade silicone that is completely bio-compatible. All materials are obtained and manufactured within the United States to create the Kaos Softwear product line. The materials that we use are batch tested and have Material Safety Data Sheets that we keep on hand at our facility, which are always available to our customers. Kaos Softwear Body Jewelry meets government safety guidelines in accordance with California Prop 65 and current regulations restricting the use of lead, phthalates, and cadmium.
